What I Know For Sure quarterly potluck gatherings (in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area): We are inviting you to come and share collective wisdom for a potluck and roundtable discussion; each quarter will feature special guests and come prepared to share your sageness too. Bring a dish to share. Drinks will be provided. Gatherings take place on Friday nights from 6-9 p.m. Our next gathering is scheduled for Friday, January 15 in Durham and we'll have another on April 16, location to be announced. Workshop Series Holding Contradictions: The Personal Work of Social Justice. The series starts with an all-day session on Saturday, January 23 from 9 am-4 pm, and then meets Thursday evenings on January 28, February 11, February 25 from 6-9 pm, and ends with another all-day session on Saturday, March 6 from 9 am-4 pm; we will meet in Durham, North Carolina. This series is for people who have completed the Dismantling Racism workshop (or equivalent) and want to be with others who are grappling with the issues of oppression, privilege and how they affect our personal and institutional lives, move beyond the limits of binary thinking and identity politics, learn how to love who we are knowing we must change, and be more effective in our social justice work. 204 Rigsbee Avenue in Durham.
